Since 2010, he has led the development of groundbreaking tools like ProofMode, co-created with WITNESS, which pioneered smartphone camera authentication and digital provenance for human rights defenders. A trailblazer in mobile computing since 1998, Nathan has launched and patented multiple innovations—first as a startup founder, and later through acquisition at Palm. He has also served as an Affiliate Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University since 2015, contributing to the global conversation on privacy, digital rights, and secure technology.
