Drummond Reed has spent over 30 years in Internet identity, security, privacy, and trust infrastructure, working equally on technology and governance. Now leading the First Person Project at the Ayra Association, he was formerly Director of Trust Services at Gen and Chief Trust Officer at Evernym. He is co-author of the book Self-Sovereign Identity (Manning Publications, 2021), and co-editor of the W3C Decentralized Identifiers (DID) 1.0 specification. He is a founding board member of the Trust Over IP (ToIP) Foundation, the Decentralized Identity Foundation, and the OpenWallet Foundation.
